Dofus - Guide to a Feca - A full guide from 1-100 - [ Dofus Kamas ]

So you wanna be a leet feca? a master of shields and

staves? well too bad, you suck. You can read my guide though. sad.gif

Builds
There are two common builds, and

one...well......shitty build. Yeahh.....

Intelligence
The most

common, and most leet Feca build. This is what I'm covering as thus. they have

powerful shields, great attacks with or without fire damage, and pure pwnage.

Strength
This is a less common of builds. Based around strength, you'll

have to scroll str and pump vit, if I remember. Not the best of builds. 'cept for

ManOMelee.

Chance
This build really fails. You'd have

to scroll cha, max bubble, which is a shitty spell. 4-6 range at level 1. at level 5, it goes to 3

AP, but with it's awkward range and it's one hit per target, it's

innefective.

Spells
The most important in the feca's

arsenal.

Natural Attack
This is your main attack, unless you

become slow and max cloudy, which I'll get to later. Max it after earth armor.

Blindness
1-2 ap drain and low neutral damage. seems like a nice spell, I

wouldn't reccomend leveling it.

Glowing armor
Fun fun shield.

this will be your strongest shield, since it gets the int bonus as a shield and as a fire shield,

so it's pwnage.

Spell rebound L3
Funfun spell. can reflect

entire spells. Level later on.

Agressive Glyph L6
Your first glyph.

does low fire damage, not worth leveling.

Earth Armor L9
Your first

shield to max. max asap, since most monsters do earth/neutral damage.

Cloudy Attack L13
There's a debate about this spell. at evel 5 it does

better damage than naural, but is linear. at level 6, still costs 4 ap. Natural's L6 is 3 ap,

so it's better off leaving this alone if you don't have millions of kamas to forget at

level 101.

Aqua Armor L17
Your basic water armor. With a

plus! gives AP loss resist. worth leveling to 3 or 4 until later levels.

Immunity L21
another feca hax. can reduce ALL damage for up to 2 turns at

level 4/5, and castable on others. I'd only level it to 4, and later on.

Wind Armor L26
Your final elemental shield. has air reduct and MP resist.

worth leveling to 2-3 until later.

Bubble L31
This is your ONLY

water spell. awkward range, ony one cast per target, and yeah. not that worth it. leave it at

1.

Truce L36
Similar to Immunity, but less reduction and for

everyone. should be used to buy some time in a tight spot. level later, if needed. I left it at

1.

Art of Staff L42
+Physical damage. good for neutral/earth

staves, not so much for when you have a fire weapon. Good for the str build, I hear.

Backlash L48
The str feca's dream. 3 ap, phys damage, ect.

works with Art of staff. I kept this at one since I'm int based, i reccomend the

same.

Glyph of Blindness L54
AP loss glyph. Stackable. I

haven't thought much of this spell. level if you would like, You'll hear a full opinion

later.

Teleportation L60
Whee, teleport. and not silly like the

xelor's teleport spell. we have a smaller range, and a cooldown, but better than once a

game. Level after Burning glyph and possibly Feca's Shield. I only leveled it to 2 at the

moment, I'm a lazy bastard.

Burning Glyph L70
max asap. it

owns hardcore. huge area, Can hit in the 100+'s, lasts for 2 turns with an extra turn to

wait for the next glyph.

Feca's Shield L80
Another spell to

max. Level 5 gives 38% resist to all elements. Good in PvP/PvM when you need extra

resists.

Paralyzing Glyph L90
MP Loss glyph. I haven't seen

much action of this spell, so my opinion stays neutral.

Glyph of Silence

L100
Same as above. Stronger ap loss glyph.

Leveling

spots

1-5:
Weak arachnee in the tutorial. Save spell points. Boost int.

always.

6-9:
tofus (blindness pwns them) or leech off buddies. I, personally,

used exp scrolls to level 9.

10-20:
Max earth armor at 11. you can fight

gobball mobs in the gob corner for fair exp till 20. watch out for warchiefs, they break

through your shields. max natural here. You can also fight crackler mobs north of -2,0

21-30:
Crackler mobs. fun fun exp. after natural L5, level aqua to 3-4, and

wind to 2-3

31-40:
More cracklers. MOAR. Or wabbit isle. I prefer cracks.

after your wind and aqua armors, max rebound.

41-50:
Slow time. save and

aquire a ful red scara set, and collect fire kwak pieces, especially sword.
You can

continue to level on cracklers, or try trechnids w/ prespic set (Or else they'll

unbewitch) and wab island. after rebound, time for immunity.

51 and Up:
By

now, you should know friends to group with. blops, more Cracklers, keep on with trees + pres

set (what I do) or get to moon island with pres set and a kryst (if you can afford it).

equips
Yes, the

equips part.

1-10 adventurer set
11-38 Gobbal set
38-46 Prespic set

(You'll have this for a long time.)
46-60 Full Red scaraleaf + fire kwak set. at 59+

try to get a firemaged kryst, you'l always use it until endgame where you will probably

switch to firemaged swords or firemaged daggers.
60+ Custom set~ I use

jellining+jelloboots+firekwak ammy (getting a star tustards eventually) and other stuff. You

can opt for an 8 AP for 4 ap weapons aside from kryst and 2 natural attacks, or be like me

and gor full int/vit equips like a lazy whore.

I havent tried this out, because this is really hard to do, and

most of the times it wont pay off as much as a full intelligence feca, but if you want to be

more original than most, this should be your build:

Level 1-5:

Train on the tutorial Weak

Arachnee
it has instant respawn, and it's safe to level there. Put all your points in

strength, this will be your main stat.

Level 5-11:

Fight tofus, (tofus wont attack if you use blindness

and then another 3AP move) use a staff or blindness (max out blindness with enough

strength it can do some damage and it.

Level 11-48:

Try using a Gobball Gear, it will

prove very usefull, because it raises both Intelligence and Strength. Try to get strength to 100 and then boost inteligence until it

soft caps. At level 37 try to get a good perspic set, this will be your main set for a long

while.

When you get backlash you are up to make some meele damage and as it costs 3 ap

you can use it two times a round, or you can use blindness/backlash.

(also you can pm a successfull str feca, named "Manomelee" for tips ^^ he is lvl

110 now)

Scrolled Strength build:

This is a very decent but yet original Feca build, for people with money (Bow Skill, release, [[cawwot spell and 40-80 vit scrolls to start with)
For this build i suggest scrolling vit to 80 (or 40 thats alot cheaper) and Strength and Intelligence to 100 (can be done on the way, no rush at this point)

Lvling might be a little hard at the start but with a Young Adventurer Gear, Gobball Gear and/or a nice Cawwot Dofus, it's not nearly impossible

After your stat points:

This is kinda easy, evrything in Vitality till you

reach 500 (after that you should probably go strength, intelligence or wisdom in case you

scrolled this)

Next, your spells:

lvl 1-69:

Bow skill or Staff skill lvl 5 (I use Bow skill in the manual).

Cawwots can be very usefull at lvl 1-5.

Release lvl 3-4 (must have!)

I would skip blindness for now, it only gets nice at lvl 6.

Spell rebound lvl 5.

Earth armor lvl 4-5 (since its affected by str aswell).

You might want to get your other armors up a little thats upto you.

Immunity can be lvled to 2,4,5 or not at all(I suggest 4).

Art of Staff lvl 5.

Backslash lvl 5 (your main attack spell till u reach lvl 70 for fishing bow).

Teleportation lvl 5 (get 8 ap to teleport + backslash).

lvl 70:

At this point you have your fishing bow and 8 ap and now the fun starts, your

attacks should be:

Teleport + backlash or melee attack x2 or backslash x2 + shield.

Burning glyph lvled to 5 or not at all depening on your int from equips and scrolls (I

suggest lvl 5).

Feca shield lvl 5 (with ur hp + feca shield you should be really sweet at PvP).

Glyph of immobilization lvl 5 (get a cawwot in front of you and keep hitting twice

with bow).

Glyph of silence lvl 1-5.

Bow skill lvl 6.

Blindness lvl 6 (very sweet, now you can use 5ap bow even with only 8ap).

Spell rebound lvl 6.

and so on..

And finally your equips:
You are tottaly free to use what you want, as long as you have 8-9 ap at lvl 70+
I suggest using as much Strength + intelligence equips as possible but strength should really

be your main stat (along with wisdom in lvling gear).
Using 3 Treechnid Set parts is a

very nice combo (boots + capa + caska for instance), even at lvl 70+ they remain very

useful.
Agility can be nice aswell to get out of tackle zones without having to use Release.

Note: at lvl 100 you might wanna get 10ap to tele + melee or melee + teleport away

Hope this might be usefull to someone, trying it myself very soon so any feedback is welcome

(need a few more scrolls)

Considering Int feca and str feca...Int feca has the most protection if your main

stats is Int. Though str feca is originaly they can be powerful at lvl 60. They are also very

powerful at lowlevels Pvp depend on how you raise ur stats and have a nice equipment to

back up ur strenght. I tried str feca and pawning other Int feca in low levels and also other

chars. I can evenly challenge Iop but though they are really strong ^^ because they have

more strenght that a feca can have. But I tell you these It is much better to do the

impossible. Laterz!

Another NOTE: If u got 8ap and staff skill you can do close combat and backslash skill which

is a gud combination. Which probably do 250+ dmg depends on how much strenght you have

and what kind of opponent you are fighting. Plus feca has art of staff that can add + 15 dmg

to backslash skill also for blindess skill. And Use a staff atleast has a dmg of maximum of 30.

Which can cost 4-5 ap. So u have more ap to use backslash. Why not use 4 ap staff that

has 16-20 dmg on it and you can also use it twice?? well for me I calculated that it has less

dmg it can do. that what I'm suggesting rightnow. Well we have our own tactics. Hope these

will be a good suggestion too! laterz!

Oh yeah another thing...always ppl say that feca is good for high levels only...they can also

do alot of dmg in low levels if you know how to use feca ^^

the main problem is that u will start to slow down levelling at 70, as ur burning glyph will

suck, getting a nice +200intel set and scrolling intel to 100 will be good for chafers like a

normal feca, otherwise u can solo boowolf/kanis as the damage done will be smaller than a

sadida etc doing them

this class in my opinion could be better than an intel feca -fued(level 120 intel feca)

the following is really mean but also really true.

you aren't high enough level to write a guide

you don't have teleport
you don't have burning glyph
you don't have feca shield
you don't have paralyzing glyph
you don't have glyph of silence

you do not have the levels to support the things you are saying. you are not experienced

enough to write a guide. this is a piece of shit.

and regarding the STR build, the way you mentioned it came across to me that you would

talk about it. you didn't. if you're going to mention it put it in a section called "so i herd u liek

str builds" or something. don't put it in the builds section unless you're going to cover it.

==== About Dofus ====
Dofus is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) developed and published

by Ankama Studio, a French computer game manufacturer. Dofus is set in the world of

Amakna, which is an anagram of Ankama. Its success led to the marketing of by-products,

like books, and with the development of two continuations: Dofus Arena, a tactical online

multiplayer game, released at the beginning of 2006, is an alternative "tournament" version of

Dofus; and Wakfu which is currently in preparation and should be released by the end of

2007.

Dofus is a role-playing game in which players create characters that serve as their avatar in

the online world. The player can choose from twelve different classes, one of which is

reserved for subscribers.

One can lose easily thanks to the hard monsters.

Combat is played out "turn by turn" on squared charts. Within a turn, each player can

advance 3 squares and use up to 6 "attack points", used to cast spells. The AP (attack

points) and MP (movement points) can be increased in later evolution of the character, by

using certain equipment.

When a character dies, they lose a specific amount of money and energy that is able to be

regained while sitting in a tavern before logging off, or by using certain objects. If all of your

energy is exhausted, you will take the form of a ghost which will be used to very slowly reach

a statue of a phoenix, where it will be able to resurrect your character and regain a part of

its vital energy (1000 points). A character's maximum energy is 10,000, but this can be raised

upon reaching certain orders within an alignment. There is a possibility that a priest (who is

another play who has reached this rank) will return the fallen player to the "human form" with

a portion of their energy, usually in exchange for some Kamas.

Characters can join and form guilds, which make it possible for the members to speak with

each other, to coordinate each other, set up a tax collector to take sales/taxes carried out

by the players who are not members of the guild, or to steal the objects dropped from

monsters at the end of a fight.

A system of alignment makes it possible to take part in a war between the cities Bonta (City

of the Angels) and that of Brakmar (City of the Demons), in the form of a players versus

players mode (PvP). Since the 1.13 update, points can be gained from these fights, and

hence a PvP scene developed. The third alignment, named Sériane-Kern (represented by

wings made of wood and fabric), makes it possible to remain neutral and to carry out

contracts provided by other players. However, this alignment is only available on the first

server, Jiva.

A new update in the game makes it possible to breed Dragoturkeys. This makes it possible to

go twice as fast compared to running. As such, there are breeding enclosures available to

players to breed their mounts.

Classes

There are twelve different classes. The choice of class determines which spells your

character will receive, as well as how much characteristic upgrades will cost. The class

names are inside jokes amongst the developers, often (but not always) referring in some way

to the abilities of the class. For example, the Xelor class which uses time magic in combat,

derives its name from Rolex, a watch manufacturer.

* Sadida's Boots ("Adidas" backwards) - Nature-influenced direct damage and voodoo doll

summoning.
* Eniripsa's Hands (Aspirine, the French spelling of "Aspirin") - Specialized in healing and

invoking spells to increase the abilities of their allies.
* Iop's Heart (named for Yop yogurt drink, a developer in-joke) - Attack-based class with

many powerful spells, however they have short range.
* Cra's Range (Arc, French for "bow") - Archer class specializing in bow and arrow attacks

that have long range to attack enemies from far away.
* Feca's Shield (café, French for coffee, another inside joke) - Defensive magic user, usually

the last man standing in a fight.
* Sacrier's Blood (sacrifice + crier; the French name is sacrieur, sacrifice + rieur, "one who

laughs") - Attacks based on sacrifice and self-damage to deal more powerful attacks.
* Osamodas' Whip (Sado-Maso{chism}) - Summoner class that can call creatures to its aid.
* Ecaflip's Coin ("pilface" is a shortened form of "pile ou face", which means "tails or heads") -

Gambler class whose attacks are powerful but can backfire and harm the player.
* Enutrof's Fingers (Fortune) - Treasure seeker class that starts off weaker in battle but

finds dropped items at a faster rate.
* Xelor's hourglass (Rolex) - Masters of time, able to delay or speed up units in battle by

taking or adding Action Points (AP) to enemies and/or allies.
* Sram's Shadow (Mars Bar, yet another inside joke) - thief/assassin class, specializing in

different types of hidden traps, invisibility and powerful close combat.
* Pandawa's pint (Padawan or Panda Warrior) - While sober, they're a support class, carrying

allies around the battlefield and lowering enemies' elemental resistance. When drunk, they

become formidable close-range fighters, with reduced movement but powerful attacks and

damage reduction. This class is available only for paid players(p2p).

According to a post on this topic on the official forums, Feca, Iop, and Sram were the first

three classes created, so the developers named them after their favorites among the various

snacks they enjoyed while making the game, and the names have nothing to do with the

classes themselves.
